Can I share a secret? I used to do everything but cook. Which made it easy for me to have an imbalanced diet. But those days are long gone and have been for a while.
I truly care about my well-being. I've been a vegetarian for about 5 years now. Cutting meat out of my diet pretty much forced me to eat more fruits and veggies. So honestly, it was for the best. I started this blog to empower others to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We live in a world that moves so quickly that we often feel like we don't have time to make self-care a priority. This includes the type of foods that we eat. The truth is, we can't afford not to. I heard a phrase once, “If you don't want to invest in healthier food, wait until you see your medical bills."
Minorities are disadvantaged when it comes to great healthcare access including dieticians/nutritionists. My aim is to share advice on overall health and wellness that is impactful and transformative.
That is why I also created the World of Wellness Podcast.
